Not only is Brighton uniquely placed to enjoy all of the benefits of the seaside, it also benefits from its surrounding countryside. Just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of this cosmopolitan city’s centre, you’ll find rolling downland, historic houses and country pubs amidst the most spectacular views the South Downs has to offer. You may also enjoy the unrivalled views from the famous Seven Sisters Cliffs which stretch all the way to the white cliffs of Dover.
Brighton is also perfectly situated for the A23/M23, which can whisk you to Gatwick in around 9 miles and connects to the M25 at junction 7. By rail it is just under one hour from London with many express trains in commuter hours. As for access to France, Newhaven is only 9 miles away, offering regular and speedy Sea cat services to Dieppe.

When it comes to getting around the city, Brighton operates frequent bus services and taxi ranks are located throughout the centre, there are also plenty of convenient car parks . Try something different, hop on a friendly tuc tuc from Brighton Station that will take you as far as the Marina if you wish!
